Time has no meaning. Nothing has proven that phrase to me more than traveling back to Mumbai.
I feel like no time has passed since my last visit here. The only difference I’ve seen is that there are more buildings being built. I want things to be different. I want that new sense of adventure that I got when I first landed in this great land, but this time around, that spark hasn’t been created. It’s all too familiar, and in a strange sense, feels very much like home. It’s comfortable here. It feels safe here.
This is safety is relative, of course. No matter how much like home a place feels, it is hard to feel safe when you have two trucks filled to the brim with propane tanks literally inches away from you, as observed in this photo.
I apologize for not posting in a few days, I’ve been trying to get accustomed to my new sleep schedule. My work hours here are from 8pm until 8am. Needless to say, it’s been a bit taxing these past couple of days. I have been taking a lot of photos, and once I get an SD card reader, I’ll be able to post the numerous videos I have taken.
Propane! Propane! Hell yeah. Glad to see you touched down safely.
