So I apologize for not updating you on my travels recently. Work has been pretty busy and the group I’m with tends to go out drinking….a lot. No complaints there, it just limits the time I have to write to you.
It’s Thursday, and I suppose a lot has happened since my last, brief, post. First of all, I have moved hotels. Apparently we weren’t in the best of neighborhoods as the local police department liked making various drug busts outside the lobby. Upon hearing that news, we moved down CA-57 to the lovely (and swank) Shiloh Hilltop Suites. Needless to say, it’s an upgrade from the Extended Stay America that we fled from. Softer beds, nicer staff, and far less police. So here I am lounging on my king-sized bed while sipping on a cold Fat Tire Ale, watching the sun set over the hills of Los Angeles after a hard day’s work. I’ve noticed that I’m in an area of extremes. Working hard, relaxing hard. No in between.
Honestly, I love it.
Before I leave you, I thought I would just mention my new found love. She’s a beautiful lass, clean, and smells great. Her name is In-N-Out. Sure, she may be a bad influence to my overall health, but she sure does know how to entertain. I know it sounds silly to find this much satisfaction from a fast food chain, but nothing on the east coast compares to the glory found in a double-double. I think I feel a new obsession coming on (or has it already taken hold?).
